Danielle is an Independently Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Mental Health Provider. When it comes to personal or relational health and wellness, Danielle believes with the right kind of therapeutic help and guidance anyone has the potential to make true shifts for the better.

Danielle’s expertise is in understanding the human mind. Whether she is in session providing couple/marital counseling for those experiencing relationship duress, meeting with adults interested in making personal therapeutic shifts, helping parents who are struggling with their children’s behavior and/or mental wellness, counseling the youth population providing them with insight and concrete strategies to end negative cycles, it is her greatest passion to help her clients meet their therapeutic goals so that they can get to where they want to be.

Danielle’s therapeutic methodology is to collaborate with her clientele in the problem solving process. Depending on the needs of her clients she utilizes: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Psycho – Educational Approach, Interpersonal/Relational Therapy, and a Strength Based Approach to treatment. Specifically, Danielle’s style is to develop a concrete understanding of her clients’ current problem(s), and help them to use their strengths to move forward. Danielle is goal driven while remaining kind, patient, and nurturing. You experience her genuine warmth and vested interest in your concerns, needs, thoughts, feelings, and success throughout your therapeutic journey. It is her goal to help her clientele help themselves achieve their therapeutic goals.

Danielle has been providing clinical services since 2005. Prior to joining Dr. Karen Ruskin & Associates, Danielle provided couple, individual, and family counseling both in a clinical setting and in the home environment. In addition, she provided training for parents on how to work with children with unique mental health needs assuring coordination with a wide range of collateral agencies. Also, she provided advisement for graduate interns in clinical methods. Danielle holds a master’s degree in Social Work and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology. She is a member of The National Association of Social Workers.
