In the Family Therapy Magazine – March/April edition, Dr. Karen Ruskin is spotlighted on the back page for ‘Media Mentions’ in addressing membership benefits of the American Association For Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). This blog is intended as a shout out to the AAMFT and the Family Therapy Magazine as a thank you.
Professions often have an organization of which they are members of, and have to meet a certain set of standards to be a member of. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am a clinical member of the American Association For Marriage And Family Therapy (AAMFT). I am often interviewed by various media outlets, including; television, radio, and print, my insights show this profession in a positive light. Therefore,the AAMFT includes my contributions on their Media Mentions section of the AAMFT website.
I want to take a moment to thank the AAMFT again for the privilege of being spotlighted on their Media Mentions section. As a relationship expert and parenting strategist, it is joyous to help people to help themselves get to a better place every day as I provide counseling and offer my wonderful team of therapists to help our community in my out patient private group practice: Dr. Karen Ruskin & Associates, Inc. To have the opportunity to share my therapeutic insights to the masses through the forum of media is a great gift and for that I am honored. To then be mentioned on the Media Mention page of the AAMFT is appreciated and a privilege.
